Frenz are my most treasured possession. It is not because they help me or give me company. If it was limited to that, I would be selfish. It is because of the great confidence and energy they put in me. I love to feel their support in both good and bad times. I made a lot of friends in yesteryears, very few of the opposite sex though. DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, KHAGAUL (1997-2000) Prince, Kirti, Piggy(Abhishek), Andoo(Abhishek), Madhukar, Anjani.... there are many more to write. Almost all the students of Class IX 'A' were close as a unit. As there was no girl in our section, we used to have a lot of phun and masti. Cricket in the classroom, the leechu hoots, all had become a part of our life. It was very sad when we were separated in Class X. Well, Kirti, Piggy were in my section, but Prince, how can he forgive me. We were separated. Still to this date, I feel we had the best of our friendships in DAV. PRINCE____ now a Stephenian, he was undoubtedly the most well behaved amongst us. I liked being with him. Our friendship started in VII when we both joined the school in the same year. We were together in Class VIII n IX and was the fellow next to me in each class. KIRTI_____ looked like a girl. Still has some girlish looks. Now in IIIT, Hyderabad. I dunno but he is catching the computer languages fast. Was pathetic in computers at school. The only one whom I meet regularly whenever I go to Patna on vacations. ANDOO_____ still meditating.. huh. This guy was round and had a cute face. His eyes were always half shut which made it seem like he was always meditating. Now in IIT, Kanpur. Great guy with a great sense of humour. SNIGDHA___ the only girl I have been in contact after school. She has a great understanding and is always ready to help. Always sends me rakhee on Rakshabandhan. DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, RKPURAM (2000-2002) The hostel was a treasured place. I had a number of good friends in the hostel.. Amit, Abhas, Bandhu, Anky, Chhapar, Rishabh, Rohit, Raman.. i can't count.. there were so many and with each of them I had some very special moments of my life. In the school, I had a limited area of control. One very good friend was Mayank Yadav. Although Me and Anky were always making fun of him, he was a very good friend. Then there were three others.. I must mention .. Charu, Astha and Jyo.. I liked being with Jyo and Charu. We were in quite a few groups in labs and I liked their company.. particularly I must not say but Charu. She had an excellent sense of humour and negotiating with people. I caught her tensed a few times on the net but for very valid reasons. She was a nice person to chat to. AMIT______ the International Hero of the hostel. He liked being in the limelight and fell prey to a number of foul plays but I worship him for his perseverance and hard work. Most of the time in the hostel, I was with him and we shared a special bond between us. His only weakness were gurls which are I hope not causing problems to him now in IIT, Delhi. ABHAS_____ Inti guru of the hostel. Besides being a genius, Abhas was also a fun loving person and we went to a lot of places together. He was also an active participator in discussions and thus I liked his company. We used to go to strolls in the night after the dinner which I think was the best of my times in DPS. The cricket we played in the rooms and the chitchat during the nights. I will never forget that. ANKY______ my classmate and my bessssst friend in school. I had a nice time in school with his expert comments as catalyst.He had a great sense of humour and was the crowned joker of our corridor. We had a nice rhythm set between us which helped me in getting over the mundane school works. BANDHU____ Be it cricket, be it movies, he was the one. I forgot, be it studies. He had a great mind. He makhaoed at the end but, I don't think I have met any more sharper minds than his in my small lifetime. We had nice long sessions of chat and pattebaazi, movies in Priya, trips to India Gate. His memory.. well sharper than the blade of a sword. Good.. he will never forget me. CHARU_____ She could be as bubbly one minute and as mature the other. I liked chatting with her. Well, I more chatted with her after I left DPS on messenger. She has a gr8 sense of humour and the quality of tolerance towards her friends. She and Jyoti used to make phun of me and I really enjoyed it. ASTHA_____ The suspicious girl but very bubbly and one you could always rely for good advice. My friendsip grew with her when I was leaving DPS. Now in warwickshire pursuing career in computer sciences. Since a looong time I am not in contact with her. But, she continues to be one of the great friends with whom I shared one of the difficult sessions of my life. JYOTI_____ Jyo.. well a slender, tall, smart girl. She was a great manipulator I must say. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KHARAGPUR I can't say a lot about this place. Let me leave this place. But yes, I have a lot of friends here. The WING OF WISDOM (HJB Hall), I will never forget you!!!! Saurabh, Manu, Neeraj, Kesh, Annu, Tunu, Gaurav, Animesh, Bhaisaab, Bhopaali, Ghatak, Ayan, Atul.. koi bhi ho.. we enjoyed a lot. Ours was not a high profile wing, but it the smallness which can perforate and adjust to any condition to enjoy. |
